Gombe group seeks partnership with media

The Maternal-Neonatal Child Health Coalition, made up of civil society organisations of Nigeria in Gombe State, is seeking to expand its collaboration with the media, in order to promote child and women issues in the state.

Speaking to members of the Correspondents’ Chapel during a courtesy call in Gombe, Field Manager of Save the Children, Gombe, Mrs. Altine Lewi, said the organisation understood the benefits of the collaboration, hence the formation of the coalition, which has contributed immensely in promoting issues of children and women.

Chairman of the Coalition, Mr. Alhassan Yahya, who doubles as the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Gombe State Chapter, said it carried out sensitisation to three selected 1st Class rulers in the state.
