The ability to set goals and make plans for their accomplishments has been deemed a must-have skill for contemporary entrepreneurs seeking to be successful in their endeavours. The advice was given by Oyemonlan Benjamin Oseoje, alias Trillbjm, during an Instagram live chat.
“To be a go-getter, you must at first be a goal-setter,” said Trillbjm, a serial entrepreneur and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the fintech, Patricia.
The rising entrepreneur, who is the CEO of Fashionnova Nigeria and Auth Doc, further advised his followers: “Do something today that your future self will thank you for. It’s going to be hard, but hard does not mean impossible. Instead of waiting for the opportunity, create it.”
According to Trillbjm, the best way to succeed is to “discover what you love and then find a way to offer it to others in the form of service.”
Being a solution expert, Trillbjm avowed is the secret behind how he become the founder of multiple companies.
Said he: “I first identify a problem I may have at a particular time, I then think of a viable solution. If I can solve that problem I try to amplify it enough to reach other people like myself that would require a solution.”
He said further: “Because I’m constantly creating solutions to a general problem, I’m creating value and ideas for new businesses evolve naturally.”
As an example, he referred to Billerpay, a crypto payment platform he co-founded. “I came up with this idea because I knew there was a problem with paying bills, subscriptions and remitting payments across Africa due to payment restrictions, regulations and other challenges. So I decided to make it decentralized by building a platform facilitated by the blockchain to solve the idea of paying bills effortlessly across Africa,” he articulated.
