At the prestigious 2019 Exquisite Ladies of the Year (ELOY) Awards, fashion visionary Glory Agbonita Ehizuenlen was honored as Creative Fashion Designer of the Year. Organized by Exquisite Magazine, the annual event celebrates exceptional women who are making a lasting impact in their industries and communities.
Ehizuenlen received recognition for her innovative approach to design, notably her work in reimagining African textiles and heritage through a contemporary fashion lens. Her award highlights the growing global influence of African creativity and craftsmanship.
Held in Lagos, the 2019 ELOY Awards brought together Nigeria’s most inspiring women across fashion, media, entrepreneurship, and beyond. Other notable winners included Toyin Lawani (Stylist of the Year), Obis Oragwu (Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year), Nancy Isime (TV Personality of the Year), and Funke Akindele (Brand Ambassador of the Year).
By receiving this honor, Ehizuenlen joins a distinguished group of trailblazing women who are redefining excellence in Nigeria’s creative and cultural landscape.
