…As ASCON celebrates golden jubilee in style
For half a century, Adu Social Club of Nigeria (ASCON) has kept the flag of brotherhood flying. Against all odds, it has maintained and promoted a strong sense of unity, friendship and shared purpose among its members.

It has established for itself an enviable reputation as a noble club and, to be a member, one must be distinguished in various ways. With its headquarters in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, people who matter in the community used the club to cut their social teeth.

Indeed, ASCON members are highly regarded. To be a member is a badge of honour because it lays emphasis on honesty, integrity and industry among members.
As a club, it maintains a non-partisan posture, but individual members are free to express themselves politically. It is a unique club governed by traditions, customs, norms and constitution.

On December 26, 2025, ASCON will roll out the drums in celebration of its amazing accomplishments, and to return all the praise to God who made everything possible. Highlights of the event include book launch and bestowing of awards on sons and daughters who have distinguished themselves in various ways.
