A weekend of booze thriller and hearty toast beckons on beer aficionados, celebrities and pub crawlers, as premium brewing company sets the stage with chillers for Nigeria’s maiden beer carnival.

An initiative of Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, the big event, which aims at promoting enjoyable and responsible lifestyle beer consumption, is scheduled for Friday March 17 – 19, 2017 and is expected to attract thousands of celebrity brand ambassadors and consummate drinkers, raising glasses of their favourite brew in rare booze pleasures and merriment galore.

Experts including nutritionists, food technologists and medical experts have said that moderate consumption of alcoholic drink is nutritious and good for a healthy living. According to the Marketing Manager, Eko Hotels, Mrs Iyadunni Gbadebo, the maiden beer festival was initiated and developed by the management as a significant product offering and celebration of lifestyles drinking experience for celebrities, beer consumers and pub patrons who desire trendy and indulgent environment to redefine their taste for the golden brew.

With an array of brands from the stable of Nigerian Breweries Plc, which initiated a campaign to promote responsible beer consumption and healthier drinking culture, it will be happy moment for sophisticated drinkers and brand loyalists while tons of golden bubbles are ingested.

The hotel’s Food & Beverage Manager, Mr. Abhilash Cherian, explained that the first Nigerian beer carnival provides a unique opportunity and trendy style for beer consumers particularly celebrities and loyal consumers to share brighter moments and relish choice lager beer produced from the finest ingredients during the three–day events.
