A popular hotel in Abuja, Focus Holiday Inn was on Wednesday morning gutted by fire.
Founded in 2022, the hotel is located in the Garki area of the city.
It was learnt that staff of the hotel were alerted to the fire by a guest who ran to the reception unclad around 3:00 am.
The fire was said to have originated from a section of the three-storey building but quickly spread to other parts, causing panic among guests and staff of the hotel.
It was gathered that fire services were contacted and turned up to put out the fire after an initial delay.
The cause of the fire could not be immediately ascertained and no casualties have been reported as of press time.
The FCT Fire Service could not be immediately reached for comments.
