This year’s Felabration, the annual event held to remember Afrobeat King, Fela Anikulakpo-Kuti, came to a resounding close with a fashion show tagged ‘Dress Fela’ fashion competition.
The show was aimed to mimic the dress sense of the music maestro by budding and emerging designers on Monday, October 2, at Freedom Park, Lagos.

The daughter of the Afrobeat maestro, Yeni Kuti, disclosed that the fantastic show was the second edition.
“This year, we had three seasoned designers as judges: Frank Osodi, Ade Bakare and Antony Soares. Last year, we had Frank Osodi and Lanre Da Silva.
The winner of the contest was rewarded with N1 million. The second winner got 500,000 while the third winner got 250,000.
