Nigeria U20 women’s national team Head Coach, Moses Aduku, and Team Administrator, Kelechi Omeke, will attend Friday’s draw ceremony for the 12th FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup finals at the EC1 Cultural Centre in Łódź, Poland.
Nigeria’s Falconets secured qualification for the 24-team tournament alongside Benin Republic, Ghana and Tanzania, who will represent Africa at the competition scheduled to take place from September 5 to 27 across the Polish cities of Łódź, Katowice, Sosnowiec and Bielsko-Biała.
Ahead of the draw, all 24 qualified teams have been placed into four pots of six teams each, from which six groups of four teams will emerge for the tournament proper.

The Poland 2026 edition will feature six debutants — hosts Poland, Portugal, New Caledonia, Ecuador, Tanzania and Benin Republic — while Germany will miss the tournament for the first time in history despite previously defeating Nigeria in the finals of the 2010 and 2014 editions.
Europe will be represented by Poland, France, Italy, England, Portugal and Spain, while Asia’s representatives are China, South Korea, Japan and North Korea. North and Central America will have Mexico, USA and Costa Rica, while Brazil, Ecuador, Argentina and Colombia will fly South America’s flag. Oceania’s representatives are New Zealand and New Caledonia.
Nigeria, one of the ever-present teams in the competition, have been placed in Pot 2 alongside USA, Canada, Colombia, Mexico and New Zealand. Ghana, making their eighth appearance at the tournament, are in Pot 3 with South Korea, England, Argentina, China and Italy.
