D’Tigress arrives Berlin for FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup

African champions Nigeria’s D’Tigress have arrived in Berlin ahead of the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The team was welcomed by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Germany, H.E. Ambassador Sen Ita Enang, along with officials of the Nigerian diplomatic mission in the German capital.

The arrival marks the final stage of preparations for the tournament, which runs from 4 to 13 September 2026 in Berlin.

D’Tigress, the reigning African champions after securing a fifth consecutive FIBA Women’s AfroBasket title, will compete in Group B alongside France, South Korea and Hungary.
