Faith Mission C&S Church Headquarters, Satellite Town, came alive on Sunday as worshippers from across the country gathered for the church’s 40th Founder’s Year Anniversary and 2025 Harvest Thanksgiving Service.
The colourful celebration, themed “Magnify the Lord” (Psalm 34:3), underscored four decades of God’s faithfulness and the church’s steady growth.
The Spiritual Head of Ore-Ofe C&S Church and senior member of the C&S Unification Church, His Eminence Emmanuel O. Owomoyela, delivered the ministerial charge.
He urged the congregation to seek clarity of purpose and remain resilient in their service to God, stressing that divine assignments are fulfilled through focus and obedience.
On the green carpet, The New Seraph Radio Correspondent caught up with the Iya Aladura General, Her Grace Dr. Oluwaseye Yomi-Sholoye JP, Founder of The New Seraph and Deputy Primate of Faith Mission C&S Churches Worldwide.
She expressed profound gratitude for what she described as “another year of plenty,” reflecting on the church’s transformation since its early days as New Mission Church, a journey that has spanned 65 years and culminated in 40 years of establishment in Satellite Town as Faith Mission C&S Church.
“Today, we magnify the Lord for His faithfulness and goodness,” she said. “We thank Him for life, for the privilege of service, and for the abundant blessings we continue to enjoy. May our lives always reflect His greatness.”
Chairman of the 40th Founder’s Day Anniversary and 2025 Harvest Committee, Sp. Ap. Adesola Adeyemi, also shared his testimony. Having served in the church for over 35 years, he spoke of God’s unwavering guidance through his education, career in the Lagos State Government, marriage and family.
“I graduated, secured a good job, got married and raised my children, all by God’s faithfulness,” he said, expressing hope to be granted the grace to serve again as harvest chairman next year.
He applauded the youths for their exceptional contributions to this year’s celebration and urged them to remain active in church life as “the future of the ministry.”
The event drew an array of dignitaries, including CAN Chairman Rev. Stephen Adegbite JP, His Grace Prof. Adeyemi, royal fathers and mothers, government officials, business leaders and other eminent guests.
The celebration ended on a note of joy and renewed commitment, as worshippers departed with hearts full of gratitude and hope, confident that the blessings of God would continue to abound in the years ahead.
