Ezinifite Town Union (ETU), Lagos branch, has unveiled an ultra modern hall in Lagos State under the chairmanship of Ichie Adimmonyenma Ezereadi, Ezeorjika, former PG Alaba International Market, Ojo Lagos.
The event attracted personalities like the traditional ruler of Ezinifite, Igwe SAC Obika, Newi South Anambra State; Nze Marcel Okezue; Chukwudi Ezechiefo; and Chief Felix Odimegwu, Commissioner for Environment, who represented the Anambra State Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo.
During the event, men, women, and youths of valour who have distinguished themselves in service to Ezinifite people and to humanity, were singled out and honoured with awards of excellence.
Highlight of the event was the cutting of the ribbon to unveil the town hall by Igwe Obika to the admiration of the crowd of Ezinifite people. In his welcome address, the chief host and chairman of ETU, Lagos branch, Chief Patrick described the event as a dream come true.
On his part, President General ETU, Geoffrey Onuchukwu thanked members for their support in the accomplishments of the project. He recalled that for years, the premises was a marshy and swampy land, but today it has been turned into a beautiful hall to the glory of God.
While commending Ezinifite people for the love that exists among them, Igwe Obika urged them to remain united so that they would attain a greater height.
