Bill and Hillary Clinton are set to testify in a US House probe surrounding the late sex offender and human trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein.
The development was revealed by a spokesman for the ex-president after the couple originally refused to appear before lawmakers investigating Epstein, who was linked with the world’s political elite and business moguls.
Clinton spokesperson Angel Urena said on X, “The former President and former Secretary of State will be there. They look forward to setting a precedent that applies to everyone.”
Resolutions had been advanced by the House Rules Committee, accusing the Clintons of defying subpoenas to appear in person to explain their links to Epstein, who died while in custody in 2019.

In his X post, Urena stated, “They negotiated in good faith. You did not. They told you under oath what they know, but you don’t care.
“But the former President and former Secretary of State will be there. They look forward to setting a precedent that applies to everyone.”
The Clintons previously stated that they provided the committee with sworn statements and have already provided the “limited information” they had on Epstein.
