Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign Brazilian winger Savinho in a deal worth more than £75m.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the two clubs have reached a verbal agreement over the 22-year-old, with the final fee reportedly capable of rising to about £85m.
The proposed deal represents a huge profit for City, who paid £30.8m to sign Savinho from Troyes, another club owned by City Football Group, in 2024.
Savinho is now expected to undergo a medical ahead of his move to north London, where he will hope to secure more regular first-team football.
The Brazil international enjoyed an impressive 2023/24 campaign on loan at Girona, registering 11 goals and 10 assists in La Liga and helping the club secure Champions League qualification.
However, he struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at City. He made 53 Premier League appearances but scored only twice during his time in England.
Last season, Savinho managed just one goal and two assists across the Premier League and Champions League, although he added three more goals in domestic cup competitions.
Tottenham’s move for Savinho comes as the club continue an aggressive transfer campaign under head coach Roberto De Zerbi, with the winger expected to add pace and attacking creativity to their squad.
Spurs are also in advanced negotiations for City forward Omar Marmoush, with personal terms reportedly already agreed with the 27-year-old Egypt international.
Marmoush joined City from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59m in January 2025 but has struggled to displace Erling Haaland as the club’s first-choice striker.
City are already working on a replacement for Savinho, with Palmeiras winger Allan reportedly under consideration as Pep Guardiola’s side prepare for the Brazilian’s departure.
