A former Enugu North Senatorial Aspirant, Hon. Chinedu Paul Eya has penned an emotional letter to the executive governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, while urging the governor to be fair to all the zones of the state in his distribution of political offices.

Eya who commended the governor following his recent appointments of individuals with competence to help him in driving the wheels of governance, explained that caution should be applied in the distribution of power to avoid resentments and disaffection among followers.

Excerpts from the letter which has already been sent to Government House reads: “While I like to commend you for your recent appointments of competent and intellectual mobile hands into your Government, I admit that the zonal spread of the key positions should have been handled differently as no zone should be seen as having more appointees against another zone, as this would bring about disaffection and distrust to your Government.

“Over the past few days, following your recent appointments of Chief of Staff, SPAs, SSAs, and SAs, we have watched verbal wars erupt among various persons in our dears zone, questioning their perceived lopsidedness in your recent approval of appointees.
