Eko FM, Radio Lagos shine at BON Awards

Radion Lagos and Eko FM have emerged top winners at the The Nigeria Broadcasting Awards (TNBA) organised by the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria (BON), clinching victories in six different categories.

The stations were recognised out of 248 entries submitted for excellence in News, programming, professionalism and true dedication to service, reaffirming her place as leaders in Nigeria’s radio broadcasting landscape.

The awards won, spanned across categories including Radio Station of the Year, Best Radio Station – News (English Language), Best Radio Station – News (Indigenous Language) and Best Radio Station – Original Production In Business, Drama and  Sports (English Language)

Others are Best Radio Station – Original Production In Business, Drama and Sports (Indigenous Language), Newscaster of the Year, Gbenga Alli-Balogun, and Reporter of the Year, Titi Adeaga

Receiving the awards on behalf of the stations, General Manager, Radio Lagos/Eko FM, Jide Lawal noted that the awards would spur him and his team to continue to work hard to sustain the tempo of excellence and professionalism the stations are known for.

  He lauded Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his vision, leadership and support which enabled the stations to excel and dedicated the awards to the him.

He also commended his hardworking staff and loyal listeners.

With six awards to their credit, Eko FM and Radio Lagos have set a new benchmark for broadcasting excellence, reinforcing their role as trusted voices in Nigerian media.
