A US-based business mogul and public health practitioner, Prince ‘Deolu Tinubu, has thrown his weight behind a governorship aspirant in the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon Biodun Oyebanji, ahead of the Ekiti State governorship election scheduled for July, 2022.

The disclosure was made in a recent telephone conversation with the Emure Ekiti-born mogul, medical expert and former Secretary General of GRENADA Civil Rights Organisation.

Tinubu, a one-time NYSC State Awards’ winner and a nominee for many national awards in the early 90s stated that what Nigeria needs to be greater and better is the collective involvement in the politics and governance of the nation.

According to him, “to move Ekiti State forward and turn its potential energy to kinetic energy that works for all citizenry requires someone like Hon Biodun Oyebanji, who I describe as a true bridge with the requisite understanding of Ekiti State and the central experience needed to pilot the state’s affairs to a greater glory.”

In his words: “I have, therefore, decided on this day being the 7th day of December, 2021 to declare my support for Hon. Biodun Oyebanji. In furtherance of this, I have instructed all members of my structures across the 16 local government areas, including the coordinators, to activate their lawful activities and turn in their campaign machineries for BAO, trusting that the victory of Biodun Oyebanji at the primary and general elections is guaranteed and unmistakable,” he said.
