The operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), have arrested four Chinese and 101 Nigerians in a business apartment in the Gudu axis of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
This emphasized the ongoing efforts of the anti graft agency to clean the country of internet fraud and other acts of corruption.
According to the Head of Media and Publicity for EFCC, Mr Dele Oyewale, the suspects were arrested on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
He clarified that the 105 suspects comprised 67 male (including four Chinese) and 38 female who were allegedly involved in hotel review job scam targeting victims and hotels in Europe and other parts of the world.
“The suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations”, Oyewale added.
