One of the standout exhibitors at the just-concluded 2026 edition of the West Africa Automotive Show (WAAS) held at the Landmark Events Centre was Foton National Distribution (Nigeria).
Foton National Distribution Centre was represented at the well-attended automotive exhibition by its partner, Dongfu Motor Co. Ltd., whose stand continuously attracted a steady stream of
visitors drawn by the wide range of Foton spare parts on display.
Leading Dongfu Motor Co. Ltd.’s marketing team at the exhibition was Manager Chevalier Li, who explained that their participation at WAAS 2026 was aimed at promoting a variety of
genuine replacement parts for all Foton commercial vehicles.
She disclosed that the National Distribution Centre has been operating in Nigeria since the last quarter of 2024 to support the rapidly growing population of Foton light- and heavy-duty
commercial vehicles in the country. Li emphasized the critical importance of spare parts availability and robust after-sales support for vehicle users.
“If there are no good spare parts, the vehicles will run into problems,” she said. “So, we are here in Nigeria to support the Foton market with adequate stocks of spare parts in order to ensure customer satisfaction.”
It was gathered that the Foton National Distribution Centre serves as a centralized, high- capacity warehouse and logistics hub designed to store, manage, and distribute replacement parts to Foton dealers, auto parts markets, retail shops, and service centres across Nigeria.
Li further provided insight into Dongfu Automobile Co. Ltd. and its relationship with the Foton National Distribution Centre.
According to her, Dongfu Automobile Co. Ltd., located in Qingyang Industrial Park, Ogun State, Nigeria, is primarily engaged in the provision of Foton vehicle components.
The company integrates complete commercial vehicle components, lubricants, clutches, modified vehicles, and other automotive peripheral products, while also providing
comprehensive related sales services.
Li noted that Dongfu Automobile Co. Ltd. is recognised as the largest Foton agent in China, backed by a 24,000-square-meter warehouse that ensures rapid supply and efficient distribution of spare parts.
She added that the company also operates its own manufacturing facility for NOx sensors and AdBlue pumps, positioning it as a professional supplier for SCR emission systems.
With 17 years of experience in the auto parts industry and a customer network spanning more than 120 countries, Dongfu has established itself as an integrated provider of comprehensive automotive parts solutions.
According to Li, the company is committed to supporting customers in expanding their markets while creating long-term value through reliable products and services.
