The Cross River State government has announced plans to host a maiden edition of the Kulturama Festival.
The event which is billed for 13th to 15th February 2025 aims to offer tourists a unique experience of the state and leverage on its culinary prowers.
Daily Sun learnt that the event also hopes to offer a platform for talented artisans to exhibit the rich traditions and cultural heritage of the state.
Speaking while unveiling the event, Harmony Ikwoh, the Festival Director and Managing Director of Delfaro Production said the event will contribute to the tourism development of the state.
“With Kulturama, we hope to contribute to increased visitor traffic to the state and also leverage on its cultural heritage.
” We also hope to showcase the state’s creative talent and the festival will incorporate food, music, comedy, culture, bikers and love”, he said.
He said they are going to have a cooking competition, comedy shows, cultural displays, bike club, stage plays, drama and music.
He added that the event will be open to every body and will cut across all demographics and all those things Cross River State is known for will be on display.
Managing Director of the Cross River State Tourism Bureau Prince Ojoi Ekpenyong said Kulturama Festival is a platform that will help market the state, grow talent and help the state to tell its story.
