COVID-19: Eze Igbo Mekong lead Nigerians in Thailand to donate to orphanage

As part of his contributions towards  easing of hardship caused by COVID-19 lockdown in Thailand, the Eze Ndigbo Mekong River, HRH (amb) Jerome Uzochukwu Ezeneche led other Nigerian to donate package of foodstuffs, medicines, hand sanitsers and nose masks to  some orphanage homes in Bangkok, Thailand. 

This exercise is coming after the royal father also distributed foodstuff, and cash to members of his community in Okija Anambra state.

Dignitaries that accompanied the Eze to the orphanage includes Mr Benjamin Onyekachi, Chief Livinus Akaegbusi of Facon Cargo Air and Sea, Chukwuma Eze, Anyijijiofor Chidozie and Anyijijiofor Nwanne John.
On why they embarked on the mission, Ezeneche said they were  concerned about the condition of inmates at the orphanage hence he and other concerned Nigerians  decided to reach out to the needy by distributing essential commodities  to them.

Further more, Ezeneche explained that in line with the  COVID-19 protocol, social distancing, use of face mask and hand sanitisers were applied to ensure rhat the pandemic was not spread among the inmates.
The inmates who were full of appreciation  for the fine and humanitarian  gestures wished the royal father and his entourage well
