Consider Nigeria’s unity, release Kanu, Igbo youths tell Tinubu

Igbo youths under the umbrella of the Coalition South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL ) has urged President Ahmed Tinubu to consider the country’s unity and release the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu.

President General of COSEYL, Goodluck Ibem who stated this on Tuesday noted that presently the country is divided along ethnic and religious lines which he said is totally against the progress and development of the nation.

“We need to live in peace and the release of Nnamdi Kanu will help solve security challenges in the South East, bring increased productivity, development and progress in the country.

“We urge President Bola Tinubu to consider the unity, development and progress of the nation above every other consideration and release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from DSS custody”.
