Members of Coker Secondary School Class of ’93 on Saturday elected Stella Diala as president of their alumni association and unveiled a maiden magazine, capping a reunion and annual general meeting in Lagos.
The election, conducted by a committee chaired by Bishop Vincent Agboma, on the 15th of November 2025 produced a nine-member executive to run the association for the next two years.

Diala will be deputised by Bunmi Eniabamo as vice president. Other officers are Ify Tonia Egwu, secretary; Bukola Bakare, treasurer; Ijeoma Mbudinma, financial secretary; Ramoni Ayoade, welfare officer; Bode Adeniyi, provost; Stanley Egenti, public relations officer; and Victor Chielo, ex-officio.
In her acceptance speech after the inauguration, Diala said the Class of ’93 remained “a family bound by shared memories, experiences, and history that continue to unite us, regardless of the passage of time.”
Outgoing president Victor Chielo thanked members for their support, which he said made the AGM and magazine unveiling possible.
Chairman, Board of Trustees, Mr. Richard Rotoye, commended the unity of members at home and abroad, noting that support from diaspora members was instrumental to the successful launch of the alumni magazine. He also announced a N5 million welfare grant from BOT member Chief Nnamdi Ejefobiri, _Urukanachukwu Nnewi_, to strengthen the group’s welfare programmes.
The event, held on April 18, also featured voluntary donations by members toward the association’s activities.
