A Nigerian football coach, Olisa Ezeasor has sold a pair of boots gifted him by Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen for an undisclosed amount.
Ezeasor, the assistant coach of Anambra-based NNL side Solution FC, disclosed the sale on Sunday.
On Saturday, he announced he was putting up the boots for sale for N1 million.
“Officially putting this boot up for sale. Price: One million naira only. Size: 44/45. Money needed to support my personal business,” he said.
Osimhen last wore the boots when he netted a hattrick for Nigeria in the last 2026 World Cup qualifying series against Benin Republic in September.
Ezeasor said he decided to sell the boots to raise money to support his business.
Football administrator, Fola Olatunji-David bought the boots for an undisclosed fee.
Ezeasor said he would be giving away N250,000 from the proceeds of the sale.
