Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief Audu Ogbeh, has assured Nigerians that the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari will significantly boost the country’s agricultural sector.
Ogbeh, in a congratulatory message, signed by the Ministry’s Director of Information, Mohammed Nakorji, added that Buhari’s victory was well deserved; given his uncommon stride in revamping the sector.
He said: “I join well-meaning Nigerians to congratulate president Buhari on his victory at the just concluded presidential and National Assembly elections.
“His victory at the poll did not come as a surprise especially with the giant strides recorded in the nation’s agriculture sector; particularly the rice revolution, among others.
“With his re-election for a second term, the ministry, which I oversee, would consolidate on its achievements and move the nation’s agriculture sector to the next level.”
