Chairman, Senate Committee on Information Communication Technology (ICT) and Cybercrime, Senator Abdulfatai Buhari, will on Tuesday, present a paper on cybercrime Law in Nigeria at the 2017 edition of Lead City University Faculty of Law week.
Senator Buhari, who represents Oyo North Senatorial district at the Red Chamber, is the guest speaker at the event, while Lagos State commissioner of police, Fatai Owoseni, is expected as the special guest of honour at the occasion.
According to Faculty of Law Students Association’s Public Relation officer, Comrade Wale Ojo Lanre , the programme is schedule to commence on 2:00 pm at the postgraduate hall of the Lead city University, in Ibadan.
He also hinted that executive and members of professional association including Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) head of security operatives and other related agencies are expected to grace the event.
Other programmes scheduled for the law week includes, Culture day, Dinner and paper presentation, quiz and debate as well as inter departmental sport competition.
