The Senate is currently holding a closed-door meeting with the Service Chiefs at the National Assembly complex, in Abuja.
The meeting with the top brass of the Nigerian military was conveyed to, among others, address the proliferation of dangerous firearms and the spate of killings by terrorists in the country.
The meeting is also expected to discuss the increased rate of kidnappings by hoodlums across the country.
