A lot of people may know DeepWell entertainment as a record label based in Enugu but little is known about the founder who is also one of its lead artists. Enter the world of Oodera aka Oodera Chukwudera Emmanuel Okoye, a Native of Nri in Anambra State and the last child of a family of seven.
“Oodera has always been in love with music but that didn’t stop him from completing his education,” a source close to the act revealed. “His university education however is from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he got his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Agricultural Engineering in 2001. After his studies he worked in several multinational companies. He fully emerged in the music industry in 2014 with his first single titled E Go Better “
Since then he has worked with a lot of artists which includes the likes of Ruffcoin, Kcee, Slowdog, Quincy and Stormrex among others. The father of three who is married Ngozi Odera-okoye in 2002 and has 3 children.
The source continued: “He started Deepwell Entertainment in 2015 The reason and objective for floating a record label was to promote talents in the south east region of Nigeria. In order to make a statement he once went into partnership with popular south east based artists Slowdog and Quincy. Deepwell has since then been the most popular record label in South eastern Nigeria.” New NGO to tackle violence among youths
