Chizzy Francis, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, has expressed excitement for the ninth season of the show.

Daily Sun reported that the organisers of the show recently announced that the ninth season will premiere in July.

Reacting via his X handle to this recent announcement, Chizzy tweeted: “Can’t wait for this year’s Big Brother Naija to kick off. Fake shipping and clout chasing will come to an end [laugh emoji].”

In March, the organizers revealed that, unlike previous seasons, contestants will compete in pairs.

The organisers revealed, “This year, it’s a search for Dynamic Duos that love the show and can turn up the heat in Biggie’s house!.”
