The 17th annual retreat and convention of the International Evangelical Council witnessed a momentous occasion with the ordination of Most Senior Special Apostle Aderemi Awode as an Evangelist at the international headquarters of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide (Ayo Ni O), Orile-Igbon, Oyo State.
Most Senior Special Apostle Aderemi Awode, a prominent figure of the church, was honoured at the well-attended convention for his dedication to the Christian faith and years of service to the church community.
Awode who currently serves as a member of the church’s Board of Trustees, a Life Adviser of the Galilee Land Committee, is the founder of the Aderemi Awode Foundation. Beyond his religious commitments, Awode is also the Chief Executive Officer of Chemstar Paints Industry (Nig.) Ltd, a leading manufacturer in Nigeria’s paint industry.
In his thanksgiving remarks, Awode expressed profound gratitude to the Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Church, Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo JP, FNACM, for deeming him worthy of the ministerial calling. He reaffirmed his commitment to the work of the gospel and pledged to serve with integrity, faith, and purpose.
“This is a sacred responsibility,” he said. “I am truly humbled by this calling, and I pray for the strength and grace to fulfill it according to God’s will.”
The ordination was described by many attendees as a divine elevation and a recognition of a life dedicated to both spiritual and social impact.
Church leaders, dignitaries, family members, and well-wishers from across the country were present to witness the ceremony and to celebrate the new Evangelist.
Awode’s ordination adds a significant chapter to his already illustrious service in both the church and the larger society.
