…says party will espouse quality representation
Laide Raheem, Abeokuta
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Toyin Amuzu, has urged party faithful and residents of Remo Federal Constituency to come out and vote massively for the party in the forthcoming bye-election in the federal constituency slated for August 16.
Amuzu, who was the PDP House of Representatives candidate for the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election, stated this while addressing community leaders and youth groups in Sagamu, Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State.
He noted that people in Remo Federal Constituency have not had quality representation in the House of Representatives, declaring that voting for PDP’s candidate, Bolarinwa Oluwole on August 16, would espouse people-oriented representation at the National Assembly.

While stressing that political allegiance must never override the responsibility to speak for the people, Amuzu said “our first commitment is always to the suffering masses”.
“We must never lose sight of those who look up to us for solutions, the traders, the farmers, the unemployed youth, and the vulnerable in our society’, he added.
He further acknowledged the growing frustration among citizens struggling with rising food prices, insecurity, economic hardship and deteriorating infrastructure, emphasizing that voting for PDP in the bye-election would address all the socioeconomic challenges.
While reaffirming his loyalty to the PDP and encouraging voters to rally behind the party’s candidate in the Remo Federal Constituency bye-election, Amuzu made it clear that his political journey remains rooted in compassion, justice and accountability.
“We will continue to be the voice of the people, no matter the noise around us”, he submitted.
