Atiku floors Buhari in Benue with a difference of 7,587 votes. He won in 13 LGAs while Buhari won in 10 LGAs.

Below is the breakdown of the result as declared by INEC.

TOTAL:

REG VOTERS: 2, 391, 276
ACCRE VOTERS: 786, 069

APC: 347, 668
APGA: 4, 582
PDP: 355, 255

Margin of win (between PDP and APC): 7, 587

VALID VOTES = 727, 347
REJECTED VOTES = 34, 433
TOTAL VOTES CAST = 761, 780

Result as announced by the Returning Officer Prof Sabastine Maimako of UAM
