Assembly poll: Low turnout of voters in Ekiti

There is low turnout of the electorate in Ekiti State capital, Ado Ekiti , compared to the impressive turn out of the voters during the February 23 presidential and National Assembly polls.

In several polling units visited including Odo Ado, Oke Ori Omi, and Eregburu where the aide to President Muhammadu Buhari on Political Affairs, Babafemi Ojudu, cast his vote, the electorate were seen in few numbers about 7am.

Meanwhile, accreditation and voting had begun as at 8am.
