Artist King Joel urges Nigerian government to stop NIN registration

Nigerian rapper King Joel based in United State of America has urge the government to put a hold on the registration of NIN due to the new increase of COVID-19 spread in the country.

He said a lot of people have been seen in large gathering which is against the government’s policy to help reduce the spread of the virus. If we want to save lives and the country, we need to adhere to strict safety measures which has been put in place by the government.

But the government is putting a stop to a lot of businesses today just to stop the spread of the virus, the same government is still asking people to go out in large numbers for registration of NIN. These records which the government is trying to obtain has been obtain in different types of validation, from international passport, Bank Verification Number, National Identity Card and more.

The Nigerian government needs to think about its people, they need to realize the need to stop that registration before it becomes the hotspot of people being infected and transmitting the virus to one another.

The government had announced that it has just entered recession and are still giving room for this type of movement that will bring about rise of COVID-19 patients in the country. They need to put a full stop to this before it gets out of hand, maybe we will start borrowing funds from Chad before we know what we’ve done to the economy and the well-being of its citizens
