British-Nigerian heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has honoured two of his late friends, Sina Ghami and Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele, by tattooing their names on his body months after they died in a car crash in Ogun State.
The tribute was disclosed by London-based Fulham Tattoo, which shared photos of the artwork on Instagram on Thursday. According to the studio, the former two-time world heavyweight champion walked in unannounced for his first session with them.
“Huge thank you to two-time heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua for unexpectedly and unannounced walking through the door a few weeks ago for his first visit with us at Fulham Tattoo London … what a walk in,” the post read.

Ghami and Ayodele lost their lives on December 29, 2025, when the vehicle they were travelling in collided with a stationary truck along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Joshua, who was also in the car at the time of the accident, survived the crash. He was rushed to hospital, treated for his injuries and later discharged before returning to the United Kingdom.
The boxing star subsequently attended the burial ceremonies of both men. Ghami served as his strength and conditioning coach, while Ayodele was one of his trainers.
The tattoos mark a deeply personal gesture from Joshua as he continues to mourn the loss of two key members of his inner circle.
