A real estate company, Abode Assets Limited, recently hosted The UK Connect 2026 in London, where members of the UK-based African clients were together to explore pathways into Nigeria’s real estate market.
The event was anchored by the company’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Co-founder, Damilare Oshokoya, who engaged participants on the opportunities and structures available to diaspora investors seeking to build wealth through property ownership in Nigeria.
The event reinforced Abode’s “Prosperity. Ownership. Trust.” brand pillars, with Oshokoya outlining the company’s approach to making real estate investment accessible, transparent and trustworthy for Africans abroad.
Oshokoya noted that The UK Connect 2026 forms part of Abode’s broader push into the diaspora markets, building on a domestic track record that includes over 7,000 users, 13 completed projects across 13 locations and an annual asset appreciation rate of 48.7 percent.
The Company’s leadership has framed the UK diaspora as a key audience in its mission to democratise property ownership for Africans, citing strong interest among the UK-based Nigerians in structured, low-barrier paths to property ownership at home.
Following The Connect 2026, Abode indicated plans to continue building its presence in diaspora communities across the UK.
