A statement by the State Publicity Secretary of APC, Uche Aguoru, said the confirmation of candidates who emerged victorious in the National Assembly and governorship primaries conducted by the National Working Committee (NWC) was a testament to the confidence reposed in their leadership capacity.

“We are confident that, working together, we shall secure overwhelming victories at the polls and take over governance at all levels in Abia State.

“The APC expresses profound appreciation to the National Chairman of our party, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) for conducting a transparent, credible, and fair primary election that provided every aspirant with an equal opportunity to participate”.

The statement urged all the aspirants who were not successful at the primaries to remain steadfast, demonstrate the spirit of sportsmanship, and rally behind the party’s candidates.

“There are no losers in the APC family. The greater task before us is to work together in unity, solidarity, and determination to deliver victory for our party at all levels as we prepare to take over governance in Abia State”.
