Former MFM assistant coach Marcellinus Anyanwu has cemented partnership with Dubai base club, Gulf United FC in his bid to host its maiden football talent hunt tournament.
The tournament scheduled for August 6th-9th in Abuja will also hold in Lagos from 13th-16th of August.
Revealing readiness ahead of the competition, Anyanwu stated legible lads raging from age 16-20 will be given an opportunity to combine football with education in USA and Canada. Commenting further, the widely connected coach urged Nigerian starlets to take advantage of the huge opportunity.
“We negotiate the best financial deals for our students Athletes at a university in USA and Canada where they can develop their football career at the same time earn a degree”.
“We want the lads in Nigeria to prove to Gulf United scout about their football skills.
“I am excited to be the one leading the Dubai base club to Africa for the first time.
“Players will be selected based on football skills, good WASSCE grades and attitude.
Meanwhile, It was gathered a hundred and twenty rising stars will be selected in Lagos and Abuja venue in order to benefit from the Dubai based club known to be the biggest Scholarship provider in the Middle East and Europe.
