Live shopping platform, Dhive, has announced the upcoming release of its mobile application in June 2025, signaling a major push towards mainstream live commerce.
The app is engineered to transform online retail by integrating live video streams with immediate customer interaction, promising a shopping journey that is transparent, engaging, and secure.
Expanding on the achievements of its web-based platform, the Dhive mobile app will empower businesses to present their products through live video broadcasts. This format allows customers to see items in real-time, pose questions, and complete purchases instantly, fostering a sense of genuineness in the online shopping sphere. According to Ugo Ugoji Harry, CEO of Dhive, “Our goal is to create a platform where customers feel confident in what they’re buying before they pay. This app will redefine how people shop online by prioritizing trust and engagement.”
Dhive has already garnered considerable attention, with a waitlist boasting between 30,000 and 50,000 prospective users. The app will offer shoppers cashback on every transaction and real-time discounts, while providing merchants with tools to access global markets, with a particular focus on developing economies.
Security and privacy are fundamental to Dhive’s operational principles. As a company incorporated in the US, the platform adheres to global data protection standards and utilizes advanced encryption for direct messaging between buyers and sellers, guaranteeing secure and private communication.
The Dhive mobile app is slated for release in June 2025, with a comprehensive rollout expected by July 8, 2025. This launch marks a significant step in establishing live shopping as a primary alternative to conventional e-commerce. “We envision Dhive as the go-to destination for immersive, trustworthy online shopping experiences,” Harry added.
