The company emphasized that Maps has become a vital tool for over two billion monthly users globally, serving as both an information source and a community platform for knowledge sharing.

Google reported that its users have received directions for over one trillion kilometers. The platform boasts 250 million businesses and places, with 500 million people contributing to the maps annually and 100 million daily updates. These figures underscore the significant impact of Google Maps worldwide and in Nigeria, where, according to Google, it has transformed how Nigerians experience and navigate their surroundings.

The list of top-reviewed places, Google stated, offers insights into the most popular restaurants, cafes, attractions, parks, and museums across Nigeria. In Nigeria, Google Maps has been essential in helping people discover new places and navigate with confidence.
