14-year-old Nigerian with autism to break Guinness World Record on largest painting

A14-year-old Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo-Okeke, who has autism, is set to break the Guinness World Record with the largest Canvas (art painting).

A Board Member of Zeebah Foundation, Matlou Tsotetsi, who spoke in Abuja on Friday, said Tagbo-Okeke would commence the exercise on Monday, December 9, 2024.

She said: “Young Kanyeyachukwu is set to embark on a historic Guinness World Record attempt painting on this canvas.

“This groundbreaking initiative is designed to create heightened awareness for people living with special needs, emphasising their extraordinary talents and contributions to society through his bold and inspirational pursuit.

“Kanyeyachukwu demonstrates that individuals with special needs have the potential to excel and redefine societal perceptions of ability.”

According to her, in November, the artist launched the world’s largest art canvas measuring 12,303 sq, describing it as a groundbreaking moment in the world of art, especially for people with autism and those in need of special care all over the world.
