Borno governor, Babagana Zulum has commenced the distribution of grains to IDPs in Borno’s liberated town.
Zulum said the distribution was part of the Federal Government National strategic grains reserve initiative to needy Nigerians.
“We will distribute 50kg of grains to 10,000 households in Pulka;
18,000 females will get a wrappers and N10,000 cash each,” the governor disclosed at Pukka, a town located southeast of Maiduguri, the state capital.
He said the distribution targeted at about 22,000 beneficiaries, will be extended to neighbouring communities in the area affected by Boko Haram violence.

“Apart from this, we have also received several assistance from FG, Recently President Bola Tinubu also approved funds for the take off of Federal College of Education Gwoza,” he announced
