The Ywom Traditional Council of Garkawa District, Mikang Local Government Area, Plateau State, led by His Royal Highness AIG Bashir E. Makama Dabup III (psc+Rtd), the Mwo-Ywom of Garkawa, has expressed heartfelt condolences to Prince Cletus Ilobanafor, Managing Director and CEO of CEOAFRICA, following the death of his father, Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor, on June 22, 2025.
In a condolence letter dated July 3, 2025, the council conveyed their deep sorrow, stating, “On behalf of the Ywom Traditional Council and the entire Ywom Nation, I extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family on the passing of your beloved patriarch, Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor, who was called to eternal rest on June 22, 2025.”
The letter celebrated Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor’s legacy as a man of dignity, wisdom, and moral strength. It recognized his enduring influence as a father, leader, and elder statesman, whose contributions to family, community, and society at large remain indelible.
Acknowledging the family’s grief, the council prayerfully asked for divine comfort, stating, “In this moment of deep sorrow, we pray that God Almighty consoles you, your immediate and extended family, and the entire community. May you find strength in the values he upheld and the love he so generously shared.”
The council also prayed for the peaceful repose of Chief Ogbuefi Clement Ilobanafor’s soul, asking that angels guide him into eternal peace. They concluded with a message of solidarity: “May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in perfect peace. Please accept our heartfelt sympathies.”
Standing in unity with Prince Cletus Ilobanafor and his family, the Ywom Traditional Council honors the memory of a revered patriarch and leader during this time of mourning.
