Yul Edochie has declared himself the best actor in Africa.

He said he brings an intensity to his craft which is unmatched by any other actor in Nigeria.

Edochie stated this in a Facebook post on Thursday.

“Listen, I am the best actor in Nigeria. I say it again, Yul Edochie is the best actor in Africa. End of story.

“The intensity that I bring to filmmaking, no other actor in Nigeria can match it,” Edochie said.

The actor’s remark drew critical comments from netizens, many of whom advised him to be humble.

Noble Leo said, “Allow those that watch your movie to say this oga. No be you go tell us if you’re the best or not.”

Dube Collins said, “Greatness without humility will end up in a gutter. Pride goes before downfall. Do you think you act more than your father legendary Pete EDOCHIE but how many times have you seen him bragging. Allow people praise you.”

Charles Chikaodinaka said, “Allow people to commend you if you are good.”

Monday Testimony said, “You can’t be the judge of your own case.”
