Youth movement, political parties embark on voters’ education

A Civil Society group, Youth And Media Network Organisation (YOMEN), has commenced a comprehensive all-party voters’ education and mobilisation project tagged, “READY TO VOTE”.

In a pre-event press statement made available to newsmen in Abuja, the chairman Board of Trustees of YOMEN, Ambassador Emenike Nwachuku-Eme, disclosed that the READY TO VOTE programme is a collaborative partnership between the Youth and Media Network Organisation and Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), aimed at “fostering unity among youths of the various political parties įn Nigeria and to deepen democracy.”

He further stated that the national youth leaders of the 18 registered political parties and heads of various support groups are expected at the public presentation/official Launch of the “Ready To Vote” project.
