Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Daniel Ford International, Yemi Edun, has been named among Britain’s 100 most influential Black people for the sixth consecutive year, according to the newly released Powerlist 2026.

The annual Powerlist celebrates the achievements of individuals of African and Caribbean heritage, who have made significant contributions to business, politics, culture, and public life in the United Kingdom.

Edun, who first made the list in 2020, is the only representative from the UK real estate sector to have maintained his place on the list for six years running.

In his reaction to the achievement, Edun stated: “It’s a tremendous honour to be included once again among so many inspiring figures who continue to shape Britain’s cultural and economic landscape.

“For me, the Powerlist is more than a celebration — it’s a call to continue creating opportunities, mentoring young professionals, and bridging communities through enterprise.”

This year’s Powerlist is topped by Afua Kyei, Chief Financial Officer of the Bank of England, recognised for her outstanding leadership in finance.

Other notable names on the list include Idris Elba OBE, Bernardine Evaristo OBE, Wilfred Emmanuel-Jones MBE, and Baroness Patricia Scotland KC.

The Powerlist, as gathered, aims to honour role models and trailblazers, whose work continues to transform British society and inspire future generations.

It was further stated that Edun’s continued inclusion underscores his growing influence in the UK’s property and business circles, as well as his commitment to diversity and inclusion in the real question estate sector.
