The Yar’Adua political family otherwise known as PDM has endorsed the presidential bid of Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The endorsement of Atiku, who is a founding member of the group, came at the end of the group’s one-day meeting in Abuja last Thursday. According to a communiqué at the end of the meeting held at the Yar’Adua Centre, the group agreed to endorse Atiku on account of his record as a democrat and a unifier.
The communiqué was signed by Hon. Dubem Onyia (South East); Chief Bode Ajewole (South West); Chief Ejiofor Onyia (South South); Dr Bala Ahmed Tafida (North Central); Alhaji Kabir Bawa (North East); Fatima Abba (North West) and Dapo Sarumi (Chairman).
