Wonder Wellness celebrates with Ajegunle kids

In celebration of the 2024 Children’s Day, the Wonder Wellness Foundation, an organisation dedicated to nurturing the physical, mental, and emotional health of children, particularly in underserved communities, hosted a special event for the less privileged children of Ajegunle.

The celebration, held on Saturday, April 25, included a variety of learning and wellness activities, underscoring the foundation’s commitment to enhancing the well-being of every child.

Ifeanyi Amayo, the convener of the event, said the outreach combined fun with education, ensuring the children of Ajegunle not only enjoyed the festivities but also gained valuable health and wellness insights.

“Our celebration in Ajegunle is a testament to our ongoing efforts to provide children with opportunities for growth, learning, and development. We believe that every child deserves a chance to succeed, regardless of their background,” Amayo said.

The event was generously sponsored by Arla Dano Milk, which provided nutritious milk products for the children, and the House of Ajebo Junior brand, which supplied educational materials for both the children and their parents.

“We want to specially thank the community leaders, Olu of Iwa and Apapa Kingdom, Mohammed Oluwa (Amore III), and Lucky Uduikhue, vice chairman of Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government, for supporting us in this heartwarming celebration.

“Additionally, our gratitude extends to Dreams from the Slum. Together, we made a significant difference in the lives of these young ones, fostering a healthier, happier future for all,” Amayo said.

The Wonder Wellness Foundation, founded in 2020, is a non-profit organisation committed to improving the health, education, and overall well-being of children in Nigeria.

The foundation aims to provide essential services and create opportunities for individuals of all ages, with a special focus on enhancing the future prospects of children in underserved communities.
