Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun known professionally as Wizkid has been labeled by many as the best Nigerian musical export to the world and the singer has been basking in euphoria of success upon success. It is therefore no huge surprise when sexy music artist, Rubyflashy made the claim that Wizkid is her number one musician in Africa.
According to Rubyflashy born Maria Ruby Sodjinou, Wizkid has chosen to be a different breed from others in terms of his kind of music and the international accolades he has had over the years.
“Wizkid is my number one musician in Africa because of his style, voice and choice of music. I love Wizkid with passion. His music is class, the sound and lyrics coupled with his style is simply the best out of Africa,” she declares, giving her reasons the Star Boy is first among equals.
“This is not even up for dispute. Wizkid is perhaps Nigeria’s most prolific hitmaker. From his debut album, to the EME compilation album to his new project, Wizkid has racked more hits that will last some artist’s entire career. Let’s not forget the songs he dropped in between albums such as ‘Azonto’. Hit for hit, Wizkid is leading this race with a huge gap,” she pointed out.
Rubyflashy also revealed that it was Wizkid that inspired her to go into music, saying Wizkid’s spice and juiceworld inspired her to do music
She also argued that Wizkid has the best International clout among African musical stars.
“Chris Brown is his buddy. Rihanna(reportedly) likes his music. He had shared the same management with Tinie Tempah. He has done songs with Akon, and Tyga. It’s pretty obvious it is a huge music export. He is known by foreign celebs, and he even parties with them. His recent collaboration with Justin Bieber is simply the best
She also noted that Wizkid, unlike many other artists in Nigeria and beyond, writes his own song, making a special artist.
Rubyflashy made an inroad into the entertainment terrain as a model and Instagram sensation. She is also honing her skill as an actress and has featured in some skits and series.
Her musical journey started in 2019 when she recorded her first song titled “Loving You” at a friend’s studio but she didn’t give the song much promotions but it dully established her as a musical artist with a great potential.
After the first effort, she has followed up with more songs which includes “Sam”, “Rawfiana” and many others.
Rubyflashy does Afro-fusion kind of music. She is also an actress , social media influencer and Tiktok star. While her father is from Benin, her mother is Togolese Nigerian. She was born October 15, 1996 and currently based in Accra, Ghana.
