Afropop singing sensation, Lukman Ibrahim Pemisire known popularly as Maximo, has narrated how hopes to use his music to affect the youth and the world at large positively.
According to the singer, his major goal in life is to impact the world positively and for his music to take him everywhere.
Through his new song ‘Richboyz’, Maximo gave a complete different vibe from the normal sounds people are used to; with a blend of spiritually ominous sound, quotes and advices to learn from, that gives hope for anyone that is willing to take the bull by the horn in order to be successful and rich, and at the same time exhilarating beats that will make one dance with little control.
Maximo noted that he is not into singing just for the fun of it or the money it brings, but also, to have an impact in the world positively before he leaves this world.
Narrating what inspired the yet to be released song, Maximo explained that; “I got rich early, so I don’t know how to hate, but I hate when people ask me for money, because they made it look like that is all I am good for, which is a total turn off for me.
The truth is everyone wants to be rich, but not everyone is willing to do the smart works that lead one to be rich. That’s why I decided to use my song to pass the message across to people since music is a universal language that everyone understands. If they want to be rich, they should put in the work even if it gets hard and messy, they should never give up.”
The song produced by Whoweeka, the collaboration was facilitated by his friend, DirtyGold, who had an encounter with them a couple of times and vouched for their creativity.
Unbothered by how saturated the country music space is, he hopes to break into the Nigerian music scene, saying good stuff sells itself and he doesn’t need to blow his own trumpet, but let his music do the justice.
He assured fans to look forward to more singles before as he would bless their ears with sweet sounds and melodies from his forthcoming EP as soon as possible.
