A few months after undergoing a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and a full “mummy makeover” procedure, Nollywood actress and mother of three, Uche Ogbodo, has opened up on why she has become a vocal advocate of plastic surgery for women.

In a chat with Saturday Sun, the actress said she is ready to support and encourage women who desire to surgically enhance their bodies, insisting that there is nothing wrong with making deliberate choices to feel more confident and beautiful.

According to Ogbodo, body enhancement should not be seen as something shameful, but rather as a personal decision that can boost a woman’s self-esteem and help her feel empowered.

“There’s nothing wrong with being beautiful. Nothing wrong in surgically enhancing your beauty,” she said.

“We are women. You need to look like a flower that you are. You need to be more beautiful so you can own the world. After plastic surgery, you become a glorious baddie, you will be more gorgeous and have everything going for you.”

Beyond body transformation, the actress also spoke warmly about her marriage, describing her husband as a kind, supportive man who continues to make her fall in love with him repeatedly.

Responding to a question on what her husband does that excites her, Ogbodo described him as quiet but affectionate, noting that it is often the little things that make their relationship enjoyable.

“My husband is a sweet man. He does little things that are funny and fun to be around. He’s a quiet person, very quiet, but when he’s in a good mood, he wants to chit-chat,” she said.

She also praised his character and professional dedication, describing him as a good lawyer and a man with a strong sense of loyalty to those around him.

“He’s very supportive of his friends. He’s a good man with so much love to give. There are just things that tell a lot about a person. I don’t want to change anything about my husband. I just want him to be himself and live his life. God made him the way he is for a reason,” she added.
